Box Score On Friday evening, the Alma College men's basketball team opened up the 2013-14 campaign with a road game at Allegheny College (PA) as part of the Greg Richards Memorial Tip-Off Classic weekend.

"This is a tough one for me and I am interested in watching the film to have a better idea," said Alma Head Coach Sam Hargraves. "I look at the stats and I don't know how we were even in it. One obvious thing is we shot the ball poorly, and they didn't. We were tentative in the first half and the easy thing to do is shoot a three and we didn't make many. We got almost no post scoring and that has to change. I actually thought we defended better in the second half and took better shots, but the stats don't seem to show that.
"We're still going through growing pains. Tomorrow will be another great challenge against a totally different type of team."
