Korbin Heitzman was named to the All-MIAA Second Team, as announced by the league office on Friday morning.
Heitzman, a junior forward out of Hailey, Idaho earned the accolade for the first time in his collegiate career.
Heitzman enjoyed a breakout season statistically, which saw him emerge as one of the top scorers and rebounders in the MIAA. His season average of 17.1 points per game was up from 5.2 last season, and he doubled his rebounding output from 4.3 boards per game up to 8.7. The junior also shot eight percent higher while doubling the amount of shots taken from the floor, and increased his free throw percentage by 14 percent while having his free throws attempted multiply by five.
In MIAA play, he ranked second in the league in scoring at 18.5 points per game, fourth in rebounding at 8.6 boards per game, and third in field goal percentage at 51.3%.

th All-MIAA selection in program history, and the second All-MIAA selection to be honored during the tenure of fourth-year head coach

The Scots closed their season with a 5-20 overall record and a 3-11 mark in MIAA Conference play, which saw them finish tied for sixth in the league.
