The Alma Women's Tennis team opened up the MIAA portion of their schedule today with a home match against St. Mary's College. The match was played at Michigan State University in East Lansing due to adverse weather conditions on Alma's campus and previously scheduled use of the Stone Recreation Center. The Scots dropped the match to St. Mary's by a score of 8-1, in a contest that was closer than the score indicated. Alma is now 5-6 overall in 2009 and 0-1 in league play.
