The Scots' Women's Tennis team played their last match in Florida on Friday afternoon against Capital University (OH).

The singles lineup was Laura McKendry at one singles, Amy Baranowski at two singles, Abby McCue at three singles, Emily Noss at four singles, Heather Spratt at five singles, and Emi Allen at six singles. The doubles lineup was Laura McKendry and Emily Noss at one doubles, Jen Meloche and Lauren Stevenson at two doubles, and Kelsey Erwin and Amy Baranowski at three doubles. The Scots played extremely well and defeated Capital University 8-1. Freshmen Amy Baranowski, Emi Allen, Jen Meloche and Lauren Stevenson all stepped up to the plate and won at all of their positions.

The results of the singles were 2-6; 2-6 for one, 6-1; 6-1 for two, 6-0; 6-0 for three, 6-2; 6-1 for four, 6-0; 6-0 for five, and 6-0; 6-0 for six. The results of the doubles were 8-5 for one, 8-1 for two, and 8-2 for three.

The Scots return to Alma Friday morning.
