ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College women's tennis team fell to Kalamazoo 9-0 and are now 2-7 on the season and 1-3 in MIAA action.

The Scots saw strong performances from Betsy Bulthuis (Nunica/Spring Lake) at five singles, though ultimately losing 6-3, 6-3. Both Cora Bye (Traverse City/Central) and Tracy Tromp (Jenison) saw their first action of the season with Bye taking the loss at six singles and Tromp partnering with Bulthuis at three doubles, taking an 8-3 loss there.
