The Alma College women's tennis team fell to 2-2 on the season with a 7-2 loss to Saginaw Valley State on Saturday afternoon.

Alma saw Lindsay Wagner (Lapeer/East) pick up the lone singles win of the day with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at four singles against Jessica Stone. Laura McKendry (Canton) and Betsy Bulthuis (Nunica/Spring Lake) got the other victory with an 8-4 decision at three doubles.

Alma returns to action Monday (Mar. 19) when it faces Spring Arbor University at the Michigan Athletic Club in East Lansing.
