BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Alma College men's soccer program has been led by a youth movement so far in 2026 and one of its brightest stars has been recognized by the conference office as
Cullen MacKay was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week.
MacKay, a freshman midfielder from Bancroft, Michigan, guided the team to a pair of wins over Great Lakes Christian and Monmouth (Illinois) by leading the Scots in points (8), shots (7), shots-on-goal (4), goals (3), and assists (2) including his first career game-winner against the Crusaders.
The Lansing Christian High School product tops the team in assists, notching a helper in three of his first five collegiate contests.
Alma returns to the pitch on Saturday at noon for Senior Day versus Wittenberg with the club's eight graduating student-athletes being honored pregame.
