Box Score Wooster, OH - Alma Men's Soccer continued their road trip with a stop at the College of Wooster to take on the Fighting Scots.
The Scots were faced with tough opposition as Wooster attacked hard from the jump with the ball in Alma's half for long periods of time in the first half. Wooster struck twice in the first 5 minutes scoring two goals, one from distance, and one from a tight angle to put themselves up 2-0. Another pair of goals later in the half would see the home team up 4-0 at halftime. Alma conceded once more in the second half to bring the score to 5-0.
Alma was outshot 24-7 in the game, with Wooster winning in the shots on goal battle 11-3 as well. Chris Henry stopped 6 of 11 and picked up the loss for Alma bringing his record to 2-4 on the season.
The Scots move to 2-4 on the year and will play on September 24th on the road at Wisconsin-Whitewater.
