Box Score Oberlin, OH - Alma Men's Soccer travelled to Oberlin College to take on the Yeomen in non-conference action.
Alma struggled offensively from the jump. Despite a very early chance for Alma to score in the first minute of the contest, nothing would get by the Oberlin defense. The Yeomen put pressure on Chris Henry early and often. The hosts would score early on to give themselves a 1-0 lead, and would pad it again from a goal close to the net to put themselves up by 2 heading into the half. Oberlin would score twice more from distance in the second half to place the score at 4-0. That line would hold until the final horn.
Alma was outshot 20-9 on the day, with corner kicks being level at 3 all. Chris Henry stopped 8 of 12 and picked up the loss for Alma bringing his record to 2-3 on the season.
The Scots move to 2-3 on the year and will play tomorrow on the road at the College of Wooster.
