Kalamazoo, Mich.- The Alma College men's soccer team dropped its conference matchup with the Kalamazoo College Hornets on Tuesday (Mar. 30). Alma played much of the game down one goal after the Hornets scored 10 minutes into the contest, but Kalamazoo was able to add an insurance goal with under a minute remaining in the game to claim the 2-0 victory. The Scots drop to 0-3 on the 2021 spring season.
Jose Vicario made eight saves in net for the Scots. Alma took eight shots, with two being on goal by Andre Masse and Keegan Hobson. The Hornets were able to get off 24 shots total, with 10 being on goal. Kalamazoo also had nine corner kicks compared to the Scots four.
Alma will return home for a battle against the Albion College Britons on Friday (Apr. 2). The game at Bahlke Field will get underway at 4:00 p.m.
