Four minutes later Hope responded with a goal to tie the game up 1-1 at the half. "We started the game well and put ourselves in a good position. There were some good individual performances as well. Ethan Swartzentruber created a great chance and Tristan Salazar did the work to put himself in a dangerous position to finish it. I also thought that Chris Henry had a great day in goal. He made some great saves and did his job to keep us in the game. Despite all those good things, we made some errors in key moments that proved to be the difference on the day," said head coach John Greer.
Alma heads to Adrian College on Saturday, Oct. 23 for their next conference matchup.
