The Scots Softball team continued their 2012 spring trip to Florida on Tuesday with two more games to begin the season. In the opener, Alma defeated UM-Dearborn by a margin of 10-1, and in the second game, the Scots came from behind to defeat Wartburg (IA) 5-2.

In the first game, Fr. P Breu Olling (Breckenridge, Mich./Breckenridge) earned her first career win as she gave up just one run against Dearborn. Later in the day, the Scots notched their second victory to improve their 2012 record to 4-2. Alma trailed 2-0 after four innings against Wartburg, but scored three runs in the fifth and two in the sixth to secure the 5-2 win.

On Thursday, Alma will take on Wartburg again beginning at 9:00 a.m. and then will go up against Grove City College (PA) at 11:00 a.m.
