The Alma College Softball team began their 2012 campaign with two games in Clermont, Florida on Sunday morning and came away with a split on the day. In the first game, the Scots dropped a close 5-4 decision to Ferrum (Virg.) and then came back to defeat UM-Dearborn 9-1 in the second contest.

On Monday, the Scots will play two more games during their Florida trip. In the first game, they will take on Augustana (Ill.) and then will face Capital (Ohio) in game two.
