Box Score The Alma Men's Soccer team hosted NAIA opponent Rochester College on Wednesday at Scotland Yard and came away with a 1-0 victory. The result put the Scots at 2-0 on the season, and with the loss, the Warriors fell to 4-2 in 2011. Alma will next play at NAIA Siena Heights on Saturday afternoon.
In a low scoring tight fought game, Alma was able to score the only goal of the game at the 12:48 mark when Sr. Cameron Alman (Troy, Mich./Athens) scored his third goal of the young season. He was assisted by So. Brandon Aldridge (Chesaning, Mich./Chesaning).

Defensively, the Scots were led by Fr. GK Brett Galloway (Clinton Township, Mich./Chippewa Valley), who stopped all four shots that came his way. It earned him not only his first collegiate win, but also is first shutout at the college level.
The Scots had a total of six shots on goal, and were led by Fr. Nick Peper (Northville, Mich./Northville), who had two of them. Others that had shots included Sr. Dirk Roskam (Jenison, Mich./Jenison), Jr. Matt Kuberski (Port Huron, Mich./Port Huron) and Trae Pitts (N. Muskegon/Mich./N.Muskegon).
