The Alma College Men's Soccer team hosted Kalamazoo on Saturday at Scotland Yard and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Hornets. With the loss, the Scots are now 4-6 this season and 1-4 in the league, while Kalamazoo is 4-5-1 and 2-3 in the MIAA.

Kalamazoo scored first in the 21st minute when Dagan Hammer scored on an assist from Martin Blanc to take a 1-0 lead and that carried over into halftime. Phil Jackson scored for the Hornets on a pass from Roy Yewah for a 2-0 lead at 72:15 and Blanc added a late goal for the 3-0 margin of victory for Kalamazoo.

For the game, Alma had eight shots on goal, led by Sr. M/F Cameron Alman (Troy, Mich./Troy Athens), who had four, while Fr. D Nick Peper (Northville, Mich./Northville) added two. Fr. GK Brett Galloway (Clinton Township, Mich./Chippewa Valley) had six saves for the Scots.

Alma will host Albion College on Wednesday at Scotland Yard, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
