The #22 ranked Alma Softball team faced an MIAA Tournament elimination game on Sunday morning against Adrian and bowed out with a 3-0 loss to the Bulldogs at Scots Park in Alma. The game came after two days of postponement due to inclement weather, and now the Scots will wait for the NCAA Tournament Selection show on Monday at Noon.

On a cool Sunday morning, the Bulldogs and the Scots battled through three scoreless innings, until Adrian was able to score three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

After a walk and single against Alma Jr. P Tara Leddy (Saginaw, MI/Swan Valley), Adrian 3B Jenna Kloster launched a three-run homer over the left field fence to give the Bulldogs a 3-0 advantage. 

The Scots could not muster any offense against Adrian P Kelly Eberhardt, who completed the shut-out by giving up just three hits and striking out nine.
