Alma, Mi.- The Alma College Softball Team (21-9, 11-2) need to be perfect the rest of the way if they want to have a shot at hosting the MIAA Tournament and with two wins against Calvin College (11-22, 5-11) today, are two fifths of the way to their goal.
In the first game today, hits were scarce and runs were scarcer, as the Scots pulled out the 3-2 win in the 1:15 quicky.

Taylor Erwin (Fenton) had the only multi-hit performance, going two for three and shortstop Amy Gaudard (Mt. Pleasant) recorded the Scots only RBI in a one for three game at the plate.
Gaudard kept it roling in the second game as she went two for four with two long balls, three RBI's, and two runs scored. Brittany Fales (Midland/Dow) also had a nice game, racking up three hits in four at bats and freshman Kelly Koenigsknecht (Fowler) added three hits, an RBI, and a run scored in the win.
