ANDERSON, Ind. – The Alma College women's soccer program was witnesses to
Brenna Rohloff nailing the go-ahead goal with only 69 seconds left in the contest as the Scots upped its winning streak to five-in-a-row by beating the Anderson (Indiana) Ravens, 2-1, and remaining unbeaten heading into its MIAA opener.
Wednesday marked the second straight match in which Alma recorded the clincher in the final five minutes of regulation, also doing so at Elmhurst in a 1-0 victory on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened:
Anderson became the first team to take the lead against the ladies all season when Natalie Marcum laced her third goal of the campaign past
Mya Pofahl and into the net for the only goal of the opening half, also the first team to draw first blood on the Scots through nine matchups.
Alma came out on the offensive in the second half, blasting ten shots over the final 45 minutes including four on-target.
Emily Ahearn cashed in the equalizer off the
Grace Sczepanski assist during the 60th minute to knot things up at one and then Rohloff played the role of hero this time around, delivering the knockout blow at 88:51 on the clock with an unassisted strike into the Ravens' hearts.
Scots' Top Performers:
Both of Rohloff's goals in 2026 have been of the go-ahead variety (the other being vs. Ripon) and all three of her collegiate scores have been the difference in the match.
Emily Ahearn's second goal of the year gives her a dozen in three seasons on-campus, closing in on the 30-point milestone, which she can reach with one more goal or two assists.
Sczepanski is riding a hot streak of her own that is coinciding with her team, having recorded at least one point in her last three ballgames as she scored at Bluffton before dishing out assists on the game-winners at Elmhurst and now Anderson.
Pofahl has claimed two or more saves now in each of her past six appearances between the pipes and seven of the eight contests she's played after stopping four shots in Indiana.
Anna Waterstredt tied her season-high for shots with three and freshman
Maddie Aten registered her first multi-shot game as a Scot via two.
Allie Ferrall as well as
Claire Thomas put shots on-goal while
Ava Hoffman plus
Hannah Abner put boot to ball, but theirs went off the mark.
