ANGOLA, Ind. – The Alma College men's golf program was in Angola, Indiana for the first of two events during its fall slate, ending the afternoon in the sixth slot with a team score of +45.
Jaden Ducharme led Coach Cleveland's guys by registering a +5 and an eighth-place allotment, excelling in the first round in which he finished fifth at one over, putting both of his birdies together over the opening 18 holes while getting par or better in 28-of-36 (77.8%) holes overall.
Brady Pettenger also claimed a pair of birdies as he just missed the top-20 (21st) with a +11 whereas
Carter McCave came one slot shy of the top-30 (31st) via a +14 and another two birdies.
Adam Gerber (39th / +17) was the one Scot to improve his ranking in round two, sliding up three spots in large part to his eagle on hole 12.
Wrapping up the competitors were
William Lightle and
Cayden Schultz, claiming +20 (43rd) and +27 (49th) results, respectively.

The men get their final non-conference tune-up before the first MIAA Jamboree, making a trek over to Kansasville, Wisconsin for the Midwest Region Classic on Friday and Saturday.
