ALMA, Mich. – The Alma College women's soccer program saw its season opening shutout streak reach over 400 minutes before it was finally snapped by a Ripon penalty kick in the 60th minute, however, the Scots got the last laugh to beat the Red Hawks, 3-1.

Scots' Top Performers:
- Brenna Rohloff scored her second career goal (first of 2026) and both have been game-winners, giving Alma a 2-0 advantage when Allie Ferrall delivered the assist for her first collegiate point.
- Anna Waterstredt got back into the scoring column after being held silent following a multi-goal opener, nailing her sixth goal as a Scot and third of the year to put the home XI on the board thanks in part to Ava Hoffman's helper.
- Emily Ahearn delivered the dagger in the 72nd minute, capitalizing on the team's first penalty kick opportunity of the campaign by faking out the Ripon keeper.
- Mya Pofahl got the win by playing the first 82 minutes before being relieved by freshman Madi Augustine, who made her debut between the pipes, recording a save in eight minutes.

- The home heavy portion of the schedule is now in the rearview mirror as the women, who played their first five completed games at Scotland Yard, will embark on a six-match road trip that extends into October and the start of MIAA play, starting on Wednesday at Bluffton (3:30 p.m.).
