BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Alma College women's soccer program survived its second one-goal contest of the year and kept the good vibes rolling, keeping its unbeaten streak intact for the sixth straight game with shutout number five, 1-0, at Bluffton.

How It Happened:
The first half saw the Scots double up the Beavers in the shots (10-5) and SOG columns (4-2) while taking a trio of corner kick opportunities but were unable to breakthrough on the scoreboard. The final 45 minutes was tilted even more in favor of Alma, getting off a half-dozen shot attempts compared to Bluffton's one while placing half of those on-target. The only score of the afternoon came from
Grace Sczepanski, who belted it home at the beginning of the 51st minute off the assist from
Emily Ahearn. The Maroon and Teal were consistently on the verge of scoring opportunities as they accrued eight corners throughout the match while not allowing any on the defensive end as
Mya Pofahl and company pitched their fifth shutout in six games with the keeper collecting three saves.
Scots' Top Performers:
Sczepanski's game-winner was her second go-ahead score of the season and fourth as a Scot in addition to reaching the ten total career goals milestone. Ahearn's helper gives her four in her career and the first of 2026, getting off a shot of her own that sailed wide. Pofahl keeps churning out clean sheets for Coach Sibliski's crew as it was the senior's fourth complete game shutout so far and puts her in sixth place on the team's all-time list at seven, giving her ample time to crack the upper-half of the record book by the time the campaign concludes.
Abby Jones and
Ava Hoffman both took aim at the net three times apiece, the former landing each of her boots on the target, a new personal-high, whereas the latter saw two of the trio end up in the goalie's gloves.
Brenna Rohloff and
Ivy Beall were the other two players with shots-on-goal as
Anna Waterstredt,
Hannah Abner,
Brianna Spalding,
Mckenzie Keck, and
Kaitlyn Reyburn all launched shots in Bluffton.

After passing their first official road test, the Scots move on to their next challenge on Saturday in a different time zone with a 1 p.m. eastern, noon local time, kickoff at Rockford.
