Alma, MI – Alma College Women's Lacrosse was in action on Saturday, taking part in their non-conference finale against Oberlin College. The Scots were defeated 20-0 on the afternoon.
Running into a red hot Yeowomen offense, the Scots limited Oberlin to four goals in the opening period. However, the visitors piled on seven more goals in the second quarter, leading 11-0 at halftime. Alma was able to slow down the Oberlin attack in the second half, but the visiting team was able to pull away to a 20-0 final.
Jordan Cleveland led with three ground balls, and
Sarah Bollinger collected a pair of groundballs to go with a draw control and a caused turnover.
Bryn Bishop also collected two draw controls in the loss.
Madison Ramirez (2-3) got the start for Alma, making five saves.
Alexis Norko made two saves in relief.
The Scots are back in action on March 28, when they host Adrian in their MIAA opener.
