Adrian 5, Alma 1

The Bulldogs scored first, getting on the board in the 1st inning at 1-0 with an RBI single. The Scots were unable to answer until the 4th, when Reneigh Sandmann drew a bases loaded walk to tie the game.

The Bulldogs scored what proved to be a decisive 4 runs in the 5th inning, which would see the home side through to the win, 5-1.

Jaycie LaValley registered a 3-4 game, and Amelia Price drew a pair of walks in the loss.

Mikaylyn Kenney (10-2) picked up the loss in the circle. She pitched 6 innings, striking out 5 while allowing 4 earned runs and 5 hits.

Game two took a similar pattern to game one. Adrian benefitted from a Scots error which scored the game's opening run, and an RBI single put the Bulldogs up 2-0 after one inning.

Another pair of 3rd inning RBI singles pushed the lead to 4-0 before Alma responded in the 5th, using a bases loaded situation for Jaycie LaValley to put the ball in play and score Danielle Dumoulin. One more RBI single capped the scoring in the 7th inning at 5-1.

Alma's offense was limited by Bulldog pitching, with 5 hits scattered across the lineup.
