Chattanooga, TN – Alma College Women's Lacrosse opened up their Spring Break trip to Tennessee on Monday. The Scots took on Tennessee Wesleyan, getting in the W column for the first time this season.

Kirsten Browne.
Sam Peterson scored a minute later to make it 2-0. Peterson got an assist from Browne later to make it 3-0, and Browne ripped the twine for the second time to push the lead to 4. Browne assisted again, on a
Joanna Scorziello goal this time, at 3:31 to go.
Lauren Kenny capped the opening quarter scoring at 6-0.
The Scots piled on 6 more goals in the second quarter.
Lauren Kenny scored on a free position shot to bring the lead to 7, and
Sarah Bollinger's unassisted tally at 11:40 made it 8. The man advantage worked out for Alma to go up 9-0 from
Briar-Rose Mackey. Browne and Scorziello each tallied again before TWU managed to break up
Cassidy Smith's shutout bid.
Rileigh McGeorge put one more shot by to make the score 12-1 at halftime.
Alma's work continued out of halftime. The Scots allowed no goals, and got tallies from Skyler Gotfelter, Peterson, and Browne. Browne's final goal of the game ballooned the Scots lead to 15 goals at 16-1. TWU netted three in a row, and Peterson scored the final goal of the game, with 17-4 the score at the final whistle.
Browne led the scoring with 5 goals, and 8 points in the win.
