The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading leads throughout the first half. The Scots and Vikings continued to battle for the rest of the half. The Scots would end the half with a scoring drought during the final three minutes and twenty-eight seconds, where North Park finished the half with a 15-0 run.
The Scots remained to trade baskets with North Park for the duration of the second half.
