Cincinnati, Ohio - Alma College Men's Basketball faced Mount St. Joseph University in an afternoon non-conference matchup to close out the Lauren Hill Tip-Off Classic. The Scots ultimately fell 79-62 to the Lions. In the loss, the Scots showcased a balances offensive effort that had key scoring contributions from several players.

Freshman, Raine Rodich led Alma's offense, posing a team-high 14 points while shooting 50% from the field. Josh Elliot added 13 points, including three three-pointers, while Aidan Judsen came off the bench to chip in 7 points. Alma's bench was a bright spit, contributing 30 points overall. Defensively, Alma battled on the boards, with James Dymek securing six rebounds and Donovan Collins adding four. The Scots generated ten steals as a team, led by Collins, who grabbed three.

The game saw Mount St. Joseph jump out to an early lead, with the Lions outscoring Alma 38-22 in the first half. Despite Alma's improved shooting in the second half, they were unable to overcome the deficit. The Lions Luke Collinsworth proved tough to guard, leading all scorers with 23 points and nine rebounds. Alma's defensive efforts kept the game competitive, forcing fourteen turnovers, but the Lions eleven made three-pointers and rebounding advantage of plus ten made the difference.
