The Alma Scots Men's Soccer Team headed down to Angola Indiana this past Saturday as the Scots matched up against the Thunder of Trine University.
The Thunder controlled much of the first half out shooting the scots 14-2 a goal line clearance by
Toby Stauffer and a block by
Matthew Przepiora kept the Thunder off the board early in the first half. Trine would get their lead in the 37th minute, taking a 1-0 lead into the half. The second half was more of the Scots out shooting Trine 6-4. After a dominant spell of possession the Scots would score the equalizer in the 70th minute when
Ethan Swartzentruber found Brendan Dore for his first Alma College goal heading the Schwartzentruber whipped cross into the top right corner. A Trine counter attack of of a Strong Scots possession would net the third goal iof the game to finish it 2-1 Thunder.
The Scots look to finish the regular season as they take on Hope College Wednesday October 25th at Scotland Yard. KO at 3:30 PM.
