Box Score Adrian, MI – Alma Volleyball traveled to Adrian, MI on Saturday to take on Adrian College in conference play. The Scots lost to the Bulldogs by a final of 3-0.
The Scots struggled to find defensive consistency against a Bulldogs team that was hitting lights out from the start of the game. Alma was outkilled 36-17 by the hosts.
Callie Smith was a bright spot offensively for Alma. She notched 7 killls, along with 3 assisted blocks for a team high 8.5 points. Ashley Miller recorded 8 assists to lead the team. Kolbey Boyd tallied 15 digs in the loss.
The Scots fall to 2-9 on the year, with an 0-2 start to MIAA play, and head to Albion on Wednesday the 28th.
