MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Alma College dropped their second game in a week to Rhodes College, 8-2. 

In the second inning, Rhodes scored two runs to take the lead over the Scots. The Lynx scored again in the sixth to go up 3-0, and then scored five runs in the seventh to go up 8-0. 

In the eighth, with two runners on base, Avery Carnicom doubled to right center field to allow Nolan Chillcut and Joshua Robinson to score and cut the lead to 8-2. Alma would not find enough offense in the final inning to complete a comeback and would drop their second game to the Lynx.  

Nolan Chillcut and Kevin Tuttle would each record a stolen base for the Scots while Carnicom added two more RBIs to his season total.  

Alma will be back on the field on Saturday, Feb. 26, against the University of Chicago (Ill.) at 10:30 a.m.
