Box Score Alma, MI – Alma Volleyball traveled to Calvin to continue MIAA play on Wednesday. The visitors were defeated by the Knights in straight sets.
Calvin took the first set handily by a score of 25-11. Alma fought back in the 2nd despite the Knights grabbing that set 25-18. The hosts would close out the Scots in the third set 25-10 to take the match.
Callie Smith led the team in total points. She hit .267 as she totaled 6 kills, 1 solo block, and 3 assisted blocks. McKenzie Smith tallied 5 kills as well. Megan Greenup tossed 9 assists with Ashley Miller adding in 7. Greenup also dug out a team high 13 attacks, with Kolbey Boyd putting up 12 digs as well.
Alma will be back in action on Friday and Saturday as they head to Naperville to take on North Central and Wisconsin River-Falls.
