Alma, MI – Alma Volleyball celebrated Senior Night on Wednesday as they hosted Trine University in MIAA play. The Scots honored Seniors Natalie DelaColina, Megan Greenup, and Mackenzie Hammontree. Alma was defeated 3-1. 

Trine came out strong and took a rather close opening set 25-21, only for Alma to fight back and use a commanding second set 25-18 win to level things. The Thunder powered through and took the next two sets 25-20 and 25-14 to close out the Scots. 

Brooke Leroux took the lead offensively, notching 12 kills, closely followed by McKenzie Smith with 11. Ashlyn Michalski also added 7 with Reagan Thorr adding 6. Megan Greenup tossed 17 assists in her final home game as a Scot, with Ashley Miller adding 14 as well.

Defensively, it was Kolbey Boyd with 14 digs leading the pack with Greenup also tallying 13.

Alma looks to finish strong as they travel to Oberlin on Friday to close out their season.
