Box Score Grand Rapids, MI – Alma Volleyball was back on the road at Calvin on Saturday to take on North Park in neutral site action. Alma was defeated 3-0.
The Scots played a hotly contested first set, with both teams pushing past the 25-point mark. North Park took the set 28-26. The Vikings would take the second set 25-14, and pulled away in the final set 25-20 to take the game.
Alma's top hitter was Brooke Leroux. She had 7 kills to go with a pair of assisted blocks for a team high 8 points. Close behind was Madison Neu, who notched 5 kills and 3 assisted blocks. Ashley Miller led in terms of assists with 9, with Megan Greenup adding 8.
Defensively, Ashlyn Michalski totaled 4 assisted blocks to lead the team, along with McKenzie Smith who had 1 solo block and 1 assisted block. Kolbey Boyd led in digs with 16.
Alma will next be in action on Tuesday the 18th against Hope.
