ADRIAN, Mich. - The Alma College men's golf team competed Saturday at the Lenawee Country Club for the second MIAA Jamboree of the season hosted by Adrian College. The Scots took seventh in the team standings with a combined score of 324, 20 strokes better than their team score in the opening tournament of the season back on March 27th.
Tait Morrissey shined for Alma by shooting a 74 (+4) to finish in a tie for fourth place on the indvidual leaderboard. The senior was one of two golfers on the entire day to earn an eagle and had lowest par 5 scoring of anyone at tournament (4.25).
Freshman Robby Wesley fired an 80 to take 24th at the Jamboree. Junior Eli Pinter posted an 82 to take 29th for the Scots.
Joey Chrencik earned an 88 and Trent Lashuay scored a 91 to round out the scoring for Alma.
Next up for the Scots is the Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive for the third Jamboree of the MIAA season, this one will be hosted by Hope College.
