Alma, Mich- The Alma College men's tennis team fell to Calvin University 8-1 on Saturday (Apr. 24). With the loss, Alma drops to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the MIAA. 

Walker Michaels earned a victory for the Scots at number five singles. After winning set one 7-5, Michaels would take the second set in a tiebreak 

Despite the Knights sweeping the doubles matches and winning five of six singles matches, the Scots fought hard at both number two and number three doubles. Caleb Schuring and Brendon Murdie would fall 8-7, while Michaels and Merrick Bay also fell 8-7.

Alma will head to Albion College on Sunday (Apr. 25) for the season finale. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m.
