Moving onto the singles, Hill was able to collect victories in both rounds as he won the fifth flight over Valentine in a winner-take-all tiebreaker set (6-1, 5-7, 79-67). Alex Jonas was the other Alma male to come away with a point in singles competition, sweeping past Gonerka in the fourth slot (6-4, 6-0).

On the women's end of the court, all three of the doubles pairings were decided via tiebreakers with the Cougars prevailing in each. The top performers in singles play came courtesy of  #3 Norah Lacher, who forced the first set opposite Madelyn Dell to go into extras before falling (64-77, 3-6), and #6 Salma Laraichi, who also forced a tiebreak in the opening game of her matchup against Sophia Wallstrom (65-77, 5-7).
