MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Alma College men's golf team hosted the final MIAA Jamboree of the 2021 spring season at the PohlCat Golf Course. The Scots shot a combined score of 325 to take fifth in the team standings, Alma's highest finish in a jamboree this season.
Senior Tait Morrissey shot a 75 on the day to finish in a tie for sixth place. He finished among the top 12 golfers on the season to take home All-Conference Second Team honors. Morrissey also earned the Conference's Sportsmanship Award.
Robby Wesley shot the next best score for the Scots with a 79 to place 13th on the individual leaderboard. Joey Chrencik carded a 84 to finish among the top 30.
Eli Pinter posted a 87 while Dylan Kast scored a 88 to round out the scoring for Alma.
The Scots ended up finishing seventh on the team leaderboard for the season. They will return for play in the fall 2021 season.
