ADRIAN, Mich. - The Alma College baseball team fell in a pair of games at Adrian College Friday. The Scots lost the first game, 4-2, then lost the second game, 11-1. The Scots are now 11-13 on the year with a 6-6 record in conference. 

In game one Alma got on the scoreboard first in the top of the first inning. Joshua Robinson launched a two-run home run with two outs to right center to give the Scots a 2-0 lead. Adrian responded with two runs in the bottom of the first to tie things up at 2 a piece. 

Dylan Dzendzel was able to settle the nationally-ranked Bulldogs bats until he gave up two runs in the fifth. Dzendzel ended up pitching all six innings for the Scots and struck out a season-high 10 batters. The senior broke the program all-time record for strikeouts with 194 currently. 

Kevin Tuttle went 2-for-4 in the opening game for Alma. 

In game two, the Scots scored their lone run of the game in the top of the seventh when Cooper Kauffold drove home Robinson with two outs. Robinson ended up earning two hits in the game. 

Drew Koenig picthed a scoreless inning out of the bullpen while earning all three outs via strikeouts. 

The Scots and Bulldogs will meet again for a doubleheader at Klenk Park on Sunday with the first game scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
