Box Score ALMA, Mich. — The Alma College Women's Volleyball team faced Albion College on Wednesday, Oct. 13, and took a tough loss to the Britons, 3-0.
"We showed a lot of heart and hustle at the end of this match. We are working on making sure we can start with that and maintain it," Head Coach Madison Smith said.
McKenzie Smith led the Scots with four kills. Callie Smith, Haley Ullrich and Reagan Thorr added three kills behind Smtih. Kolbey Boyd had 10 digs, Lexi Dykstra notched 11 assists for Alma and Veronique Chapman took one ace from the Britons.
"I think we had a lot of bright spots tonight that we can use to move forward to the end of this conference. Our next three matches are really important for us to end off the season and hopefully get a chance at the tournament," Coach Smith said.
Alma College heads to Trine University on Tuesday, Oct. 19, for their next match.
