East Lansing, Mich. - The Alma College men's golf team concluded its season on Saturday (Oct. 5) in the final round of the MIAA Fall Final. The Scots finished with a two-round score of 646 at the Forest Akers West Golf Course. Trine University won the event and the MIAA Fall Championship with a score of 583.
The Scots were lead by freshman Andrew Curran (Byron Center, Mich./Jenison), with a two-day score of 156. Curran finished in 23rd place individually. Following him was junior Tait Morrissey (Canadian Lakes, Mich./Big Rapids) and sophomore Eli Pinter (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer). Both men finished with a score of 161, and tied for 29th place. Senior Luke Lamoreaux (Sterling Heights, Mich./Stevenson) had a two-day score of 168, tying for 37th place. Finishing the scoring for the Scots was sophomore JP McDonald (Jackson, Mich./Hillsdale Academy) with a 179. McDonald's score was good enough for a 43rd place finish.
This concludes the 2019-20 season for the men's golf team. The Scots graduate one senior, Luke Lamoreaux.
