Holland, Mich. - The Alma College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of games to nationally ranked opponents on Saturday (Oct. 26), 3-1 to No. 20 Hope College and 3-0 to No. 1 University of Chicago.

Sara Majerle (Rockford, Mich. / Rockford) posted 25 kills on the day, Haley Novak (Midland, Mich. / Bullock Creek) led with 59 assists and added eight total blocks, and both Majerle and Georgia Miller (Georgetown, Ky. / Scott County) had 18 digs. Haley Ullrich (Elk River, Minn. / Elk River) tallied six kills in each game while Miller had eight against the Flying Dutch.

Alma is back in action on Tuesday (Oct. 29) when it travels to Northwood University to face the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m.
