Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Alma College men's tennis team started off its three-game spring break trip with a victory on Saturday (Feb. 25), defeating Manchester University by an 8-1 margin.

The Scots (1-3 overall), which picked up their first win of the year, took all three doubles matches and seven of the eight singles competitions. The singles matches were played as 10-game pro sets due to the fact that the match had to be moved indoors and was subject to time constraints due to weather in the Fort Wayne area.

The Scots will continue their road trip on Sunday, Feb. 26, taking on Ohio Wesleyan University. The match is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start.
