Battle Creek, Mich. - The Alma College men's golf team wrapped up play at the Lou Collins Invitational at Bedford Valley Golf Course on Saturday finishing in ninth place with a score of +60 (318-318).
Alec Genter (Clarkston, Mich.) finished tied for ninth, posting a second round score of 73 and a total score of +3. Bennett Schmitt (Frankfurt, Mich.) shot a second round 79, six strokes better than his first round on Friday. Aaron Griffin (Glen Ellyn, Mich.) and Sam Struble (Frankenmuth, Mich.) also made improvements on Day 2 - Griffin was seven strokes better and Struble was five.
