Box Score Midland, Mich. - The Alma College baseball team suffered a 12-1 defeat to NCAA Division II Northwood University on Tuesday (May 3) afternoon as the Scots competed in their final non-conference game of the 2016 regular season.
Alma took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when senior Doug Walters (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) hit a RBI double to left center field, scoring junior Greg Goffee (Dexter, Mich./Dexter), but the Timberwolves responded with 12 unanswered runs, including a six-run fourth inning, to secure the victory.
