The Alma College Men's and Women's Tennis teams welcomed Spring Arbor University to the Stone Recreation Center over the weekend for two matches against the Cougars. On Friday, the men fell 6-3, while the women lost 9-0 on Saturday.

For the men, BJ Schutte kicked off the action with a 6-7, 6-4, 10-8 victory at first singles. 

The Cougars would win the next two matches to go up 2-1 before Luke Van Fleet would tie the score at 2-2 with a 2-6,7-6,10-5 win at fourth position.

Jared Guy followed with a 7-6,6-1 victory at fifth singles to get Alma the lead back at 3-2.

Alma would drop the next singles match and all three double contests to fall to Spring Arbor 6-3 on Friday afternoon.
