The Alma College Men's Tennis team continued to roll on Monday, defeating St. Francis (IN) 7-2 in Fort Wayne, IN.
The Scots have won four-straight to start the spring season, and own a 4-4 overall record after the win on Monday. With the loss, the Cougars drop to 4-12 during the 2013-14 season.
After dropped the first doubles match, Alma bounced back by claiming the next two in thrilling fashion.
The duo of seniors Logan Beard and Gordon Rumschlag battled to a close 9-8 victory while the tandem of Sr. Joshua Gove and So. Jared Guy dominated in third position, cruising to the 8-0 victory.
The Scots dropped the first singles match of the afternoon but did not like it phase them. Alma would respond by winning the last five matches to secure the 7-2 victory at the Wildwood Racquet Club.
