The Alma College Men's Tennis team continued its road trip in Indiana on Saturday by defeating the Rose-Hulman Insitute of Technology 5-4.
With the victory the Scots improve to 3-4 overall with a perfect 3-0 mark in the Spring season.
Alma began the day by losing two doubles matches before the tandem of Sr. Joshua Gove and So. Jared Guy claimed the 8-3 win in the third position.
In singles, the Scots dropped the first two matches on the afternoon but would rebound in a big way.
Fr. Grant Hill took the 7-5, 6-3 victory at third singles and classmate Bryan Schutte followed with a 6-2, 6-2 win at the fourth position. Guy was victorious fifth position 6-1, 6-2 and Sr. Gordon Rumschlag sealed the win for Alma with a 6-3, 6-2 win in sixth singles.
The Scots will continue their play in the state of Indiana Monday when they take on St. Francis College (IN) at 1:00 p.m.
