The 2013 MIAA Men's Golf season began on Thursday afternoon at the Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Mich. and was hosted by Albion College. In the MIAA Jamboree #1, Alma had a team score of 327, which was good for seventh place overall - Hope won it with a score of 317.
Alma Jr. Marty Predmesky (Graham, N.C./Graham) took Medalist honors with a score of 71 (38-33) on the afternoon. Other finishers for the Scots included: Sr. Chris Williamson 80 (Fowlerville, Mich./Fowlerville), Sr. Jake Moran 86 (Sterling Heights, Mich./Sterling Heights), Fr. Dylan Parks 90 (Bath, Mich./Bath) and Fr. Alec Genter 92 (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston).
The Scots will next compete at MIAA Jamboree #2 on September 12, hosted by Adrian College.
