On Thursday afternoon, the Alma College Men's Tennis team hosted Tiffin (Ohio) University in the season opener for the Scots. The visiting Dragons defeated the Scots to improve to 4-1 on their year, while Alma is now 0-1 after the match at Stone Recreation Center.

"I thought we played very well against a good Division II team from the GLIAC," said Scots Head Coach Chris Sandro. "We played well at many flights and we had a very close match at #2 doubles. Both Jared Guy and Gordy Rumschlag had a great day, as they played very well, had tight singles matches and also were teamed up at #2 doubles and played a great match."
