On Sunday, the Alma College Baseball team dropped both games of a suspended doubleheader against visiting Albion College 4-1 and 3-1. With the losses at Klenk Park, the Scots concluded the 2012 season with a final overall record of 11-29 and 8-20 in the MIAA. Albion, who will compete in the MIAA Tournament next week, stand at 19-21 in 2012 and finished league play at 16-12.

In the first game, the Britons scored three runs in the fourth and one in the fifth, which proved to be more than enough to earn the 4-1 victory that began on Friday and concluded this afternoon. Sr.  P Micah Parshall (Benzie, Mich./Benzie Central) took the loss for the Scots, as he gave up three runs, two earned, in 3.1 innings pitched.

The Scots could only muster two hits off of four Albion pitchers in the loss and Jr. 1B Cam Schmidt (Port Austin, Mich./North Huron) knocked in Sr. CF Ian Rhynard (Shepherd, Mich./Shepherd) for the lone Scots run in the bottom of the fourth.
