"We played competitively at almost across the board today," said Head Coach Chris Sandro. "We keep working hard to close the gap between us the top of the conference and today was another example of our hard work starting to show."

The match marked the end for a pair of Alma seniors. Captain and team MVP Sr. Ben Schippers (Traverse City, MI/Traverse City St. Francis) concluded his four-year stint with a 70-69 career record. Schippers became the first Alma tennis player to be named MIAA Player of the Week when he was honored following week four this season.

Sr. Mark Stuart (Midland, MI/Dow) returned to the team following a two year hiatus, helping to provide additional senior leadership to the young Scots squad. Stuart concluded his career with a 25-41 record.
